to blog or not to blog….

Whether ’tis nobler to suffer the ugly colors on a free theme or to purchase a css upgrade… that is the question.  I mean, why blog if your blog is going to look fugly?  But why pay money for something this frivolous?  Clearly, in light of my newly adopted theme of fiscal responsibility, I will not be purchasing the upgrade.

Yes, it is to be a year, or two, or three of fiscal responsibility for me.  While I attempt futilely to get out of debt.  Not futile because my debt is so huge it’s impossible to pay off.  No, futile because … fiscal responsibility is so not me.  It takes so much energy!  And patience!  Much like losing weight… which could explain some other things.  Plus, that means I have to wait forever before I can buy a new laptop.  Woe!

But, I figure that blogging, in addition to reading, will serve as an aid to relieve all the associated stress of facing life’s challenges and foolishly choosing fight over flight.  Ha ha.  That, and I seriously need a place to vent about my whackjob students.

Yes, I am a teacher.  A math teacher.  And, although I also teach 6th grade math, I am a Geometry teacher.  Which is truly ironic considering that, when I myself was in Geometry, I vowed never to become a teacher.   Clearly I should have taken steps to ensure my mental health long, long ago.

For now,
